IPA Madness 2018 Recap

On April 6, the final four in Wyatt’s IPA Madness 2018 faced off for the title of Longmont’s Most Popular IPA.

And the winner, decided by you, the beer drinking public, is…

MELVIN IPA!
Congratulations, Longmont. You’ve got some good taste.
Melvin was the GABF’s Small Brewery of the Year in 2015, and this particular IPA took home the Gold Medal for “Fresh or Wet Hop Ale” in 2016.
They were also last year’s winner! (It’s easy to see why they’re such a local, and even regional, favorite.)
Here’s how The Top Four contenders for the championship ranked:

1st Place: Melvin

2nd Place (Tie): Deschutes Fresh Squeezed & Odell IPA

3rd Place: Eddyline Crank Yanker

Congratulations to Mike who won Beer for a Year!

We hope you all had as much fun with IPA Madness 2087 as we did. Stay tuned for our next big event.
