Make a splash with Natale Verga wines

Natale Verga was founded by Enrico Verga in 1895. For four generations it has been handed down from father to son, carrying the values of tradition and quality. Currently, it is run by its namesake, in partnership with his father Giancarlo and his sisters Cristina and Laura, as Enrico and Edoardo, the fifth generation of the Verga family, prepare to take part in the company.

Increasingly popular locally, Natale Verga is always an excellent and reliable choice for meal pairing at a great price. See for yourself by picking up a bottle or two of these popular varietals:

Natale Verga Barbera D’Asti

Natale Verga, from the Lombardia region of Italy, provides a variety of rich, complexly textured wine experiences. This red-purple wine has a robust taste with notes of ripe red fruit and a touch of vanilla with a lingering finish.

Natale Verga Pinot Grigio

Flavors of green apple, pear, and orange blossoms makes this light and dry wine versatile enough to be served by itself or with a broad array of foods such as Fettucine Alfredo, white fish and seafood dishes, lemon chicken, veal piccata, or roasted vegetables.

Natale Verga Montepulciano D’Abruzzo

This ruby red Italian features cherry flavors and spice with a mid-palate of fresh strawberries and mixed berries and a finish that is smooth and satisfying. A nice match for pasta dishes, burgers, and semi-hard cheeses.

Primitivo del Salento

This authentic red presents aromas of sun-dried prunes and pine syrup with engaging notes of black cherries and fudge. Try it with veal and peppers, sausage grilled with onions, penne with a vodka sauce, or a medium rare grilled sirloin.

Natale Verga Prosecco

Natale Verga’s sparkling offering is dry, lemony, and bubbly with overtones of almond and honey. It works wonderfully as an aperitif, or as a mixer for Mimosas or sparkling cocktails. NV Prosecco also teams well with appetizers, calamari, crabmeat dishes, and spring mix salads.

You can find the wines of Natale Verga at larger, family-owned liquor stores, like Wyatt’s Wet Goods, which offers you a superior, broader selection with knowledgeable staff who take the intimidation out of wine buying.
