Wyatt’s Wet Goods was excited to be able to recently purchase a personalized barrel of Stranahan’s, Colorado’s premium whiskey.
Along with the barrel selection purchase, our leader Dennis was invited to attend an amazing dinner 
with the Master Distiller held on the stage of Red Rocks park to celebrate the release part of Stranahan’s Sherry Cask aged whiskey.
(This has been one of his favorite places since he went to his first concert there, in 1964, with a then little known band called the Beatles.)
Wyatt’s now offers this limited release, specialty whiskey, purchasing enough to provide a consistent supply to our loyal customers.
We wish to thank you for your support, which allows us unique opportunities to attend events like this and enables us to purchase these great whiskeys by the barrel.
A rare 1.75 Litre size bottle from the Wyatt’s barrel will be placed in our annual “Rare Whiskey Auction”, coming up Saturday, December 2nd, to benefit local police Officer Kyle Zulauf’s fight against pancreatic cancer.
During that auction, along with the rare large size Stranahan’s bottle, Wyatt’s is also offering our complete allocation of the rare Pappy Van Winkle Bourbons along with others from the “Buffalo Trace Antique Collection”.
Like last year’s auction, 100% of the profits will go toward our chosen recipient. From 2016’s auction, we were able to donate over $10,000 to Healing Warriors, a local Colorado group that helps local soldiers with non-drug therapies to combat PTSD.
This year’s charity whiskey auction takes place on Saturday, December 2nd at 2:00 pm, at Wyatt’s. We will present a check to the Fraternal Order of Police for Officer Zulauf at the Village at the Peaks’ Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 2nd at 4:00 pm.
We believe that Officer Zulauf and his family will be joining us at the tree lighting and wish to invite all of you to join us for the event.

Stranahan’s Sherry Cask is an American single malt whiskey that is aged for four years in new white American oak barrels, then cask-finished in 40 -year-old Spanish Oloroso sherry barrels. Procured from the Andalusia region of southern Spain, these sherry barrels have been aging wine for over 40 years, leaving a depth of flavor soaked into the ancient oak staves. Under the helm of Master Distiller Rob Dietrich, Stranahan’s is continually experimenting with new expressions of American Single Malt & unique cask finishes.
