Wyatt’s Wet Goods is proud to present the third annual “A Vintage Affair” at The St. Vrain, North Boulder County’s premier wedding and special occasion venue, on the evening of Thursday, October 24th, 6:30-8:30 pm at The St Vrain.

All proceeds from this festive event go to A Woman’s Work, a local charity helping women in need in Longmont.

Admission to this October 24 gala is only $35, and includes:

‘Boulder Roots’: Longtucky Spirits Boulder County Fair commemorative

‘Boulder Roots’, the first in an annual ‘Wyatt’s Heritage Reserve’ series, was just released.

This joint venture between Wyatt’s Wet Goods and Longtucky Spiritis is a unique roasted sugar beet spirit was conceived to celebrate the Boulder County Fair’s 150th Anniversary and the 4th annual Boulder County Craft Distillers Festival. Its earthy, terroir-packed flavor is a tribute to the agricultural history of Longmont.

Boulder Roots was double distilled from sugar beets from local Schlagel Farms. Smoked with Kentucky Bourbon barrel staves and applewood, it was then rested in Longtucky’s rye whiskey barrels at the their distillery.

This special limited release is exclusive to the Longtucky Lounge tasting room and Wyatt’s Wet Goods.

A suggested donation of $10 per car registration is encouraged, but not required. All proceeds will benefit local charity organization The Longmont Breakfast Optimist Club, and their Shop With a Cop program, providing Christmas shopping and community mentoring for underprivileged kids.

Wyatt’s will donate $10 for every car registration, up to a maximum of $1,000, from this event.

Our returning Master of Ceremonies is DJ Marc. Fuzzy’s Taco Shop will also be here with $2 Street Tacos.

This year, the winner of “Best of Show” will receive a free stainless steel 5 burner grill.

Along with the Car Show on Saturday, June 29th, Wyatt’s is also hosting a free sampling of Crown Royal whiskies during our Saturday Tasting, noon to 4:45 pm. (Please bring a valid form of ID in order to taste.)

Thunder at the Peaks is free and open to the public and all car enthusiasts.

Saturday Tasting – Longtucky Spirits

This Saturday, December 8, Wyatt’s is offering a sampling from Longtucky Spirits .

Longtucky Spirits is a popular craft distillery in Longmont, Colorado, featuring local ingredients, owner built equipment, and a festive cocktail lounge. Longtucky has already amassed this impressive list of bottlings:

Longtucky Silver: Using the locally historical ingredient of sugar beets, Longtucky Silver is a Colorado-style rum made with 75% Colorado sugar beet sugar and 25% Florida organic molasses. They use a sour mash process, recycling some of each batch into the next one in order to create its depth of flavors. Its aroma carries a welcome sweetness with notes of tropical fruit. There are elements of dark bread and molasses, but its structure is clean with light, with earthy spices and a gently finish of toasted coconut.

Shine: Corn for this unaged Western style whiskey is grown at nearby Schlagel Farm and the barley is malted at Root Shoot Malting in Loveland. This clear “white dog” makes an excellent entry level whiskey and is excellent for cocktailing.

Fire: Unlike some brands that rely on artificial flavoring or contain glycol, this variant of their Shine corn whiskey is a party favorite finished with real cinnamon and ginger for an authentic, true taste.

Longtucky Gin: This Alpine dry style gin is distilled with locally sourced juniper, spruce tip, sage, coriander, and lavender for a uniquely Colorado botanical profile. It will really open up your next martini or tonic.

Lusca Spiced Rum: Like Silver, Lusca is made with local grains and snowmelt from Longs Peak, infused with black cardamom, vanilla, orange, mace, allspice and clove. Lusca makes a hearty addition to any warm rum recipe or tiki punch.

For a fun session, check out their tasting room, the Longtucky Lounge, at 350 Terry Street, #120, just east of Main Street.
