This Pinot Noir opens with black cherry cola and strawberry tea aromas on the nose. Ripe red berry fruit and velvety black loam notes are backed by a hint of tar on the palate. Ever lively and very tasty, it pairs nicely with pastas with light tomato-based sauces, a big juicy cheeseburger, grilled salmon, roasted pork tenderloin, or on its own as a personal reward.
Speaking of rewards, Mark West California Pinot Noir was also given a 93 Point Silver Medal at the 2017 California State Fair Wine Competition and a Gold Medal at last year’s Denver International Wine Competition.
