As if the smokin’ deals at Wyatt’s weren’t hot enough, on Saturday, March 31st, Wyatt’s is holding their second annual Great Egg Drop over in the village park area of the Village at the Peaks from noon to 2:30 pm. Take your chance at catching eggs from our mystery tube (and much splatter) for your chance at winning a big screen TV.

Everyone who enters will be a winner–all attempting egg catchers will be entered in the TV drawing AND get to pull an “adult Easter egg” from our Wyatt’s bunny basket to win instant prizes!

Also, join us at the tasting bar from noon-4:45 pm, for a free tasting of wines from Josh Cellars. All tasting wines will be on sale Saturday, as well as hundreds of specials throughout the store.

We will be seampling these selections:

Chardonnay – Josh Cellars Chardonnay has aromas of tropical fruits and citrus married with beautifully harmonious oak notes. A delightful harmony of fresh yellow and white stone fruits lingers on the palate and finishes with fresh and clean acidity.

Sauvignon Blanc – Bright aromas of lime and citrus are the core of our Josh Cellars Sauvignon Blanc, with layers of white flower nectar, peach, and tropical melon. The palate of the wine is fresh and alive with clean fruit flavors and a perfectly balanced finish.

Cabernet – Josh Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of rich, dark fruits and baking spices on the nose, which yield fresh plum and blackberry fruit, violet, dried fig, vanilla bean and Chinese Five-Spice. The wine is juicy with plum and blackberry flavors prominent, layered with smoky and sappy maple wood, roasted almonds and hazelnuts that finishes long with fine, firm tannins.

North Coast Reserve Cabernet – Sourced from grapes within Napa, Sonoma, Lake County, Mendocino, and Red Hills, the North Coast Reserve features a bouquet that is bursting with dark fruits and roasted nuts, with aromas of fresh black cherries, blackcurrant, rose petal, and roasted walnuts. Its palate has rich flavors of black cherries, toasted hazelnuts, fresh sage, mocha, and subtle vanilla and oak flavors. The tannins are firm in their youth but will soften with age.
