This Saturday, March 9, Wyatt’s is offering a free tasting of wines from the Pacific Northwest.
We are scheduled to sample:
Cricklewood Willamette Valley Pinot Noir: The West Coast terroir of this Oregon Pinot Noir results in an elegant smoothness and flavors of jammy red raspberries and cherries. It displays a lengthy finish and pleasing tannins.
Cricklewood Willamette Valley Rosé 2017: This crisp and refreshing Oregon Rosé is full of fruit and perfect for any social occasion. Try pairing it with charcuterie, a soft cheese plate, or a spicy shrimp salad.
Xhale Columbia Valley Red Blend: This predominantly Syrah-based red blend uses grapes from the Columbia Valley in Washington State. Smooth, silky Merlot helps balance the light peppery spice in this full-bodied Colorado-crafted blend, making it a perfect cold weather companion.
Snowline Riesling (Washington State, US) – This Columbia Valley wine has enticing flavors of ripe peaches and apple-flavored juice with a honeyed sweetness that layers nicely throughout the glass. Give it a slight chill and enjoy with soft cheeses, sushi, and colorful spinach salads with fresh veggies.
Tasting hours for this event will be from noon to 4:45 pm, at Wyatt’s Outlaw Saloon, in the back of the store.
All of this week’s featured items will be on sale!
As always, all participants must present valid I.D.
