This Saturday, March 14, Wyatt’s is offering a free tasting of the wines of Natale Verga.

Join us for this special sampling from the Natale Verga winery from Lombardia, Italy, and explore some of their most popular wines:

Natale Verga Barbera D‘Asti: Natale Verga, from the Piedmont region of Italy, provides a variety of rich, complexly textured wine experiences. This red-purple wine has a robust taste with notes of ripe red fruit and a touch of vanilla and a lingering finish.

Pinot Grigio: Green apple, pears and orange blossoms in the bouquet followed by notes of figs, almonds and pears on the tongue. This light and dry wine is versatile enough to be served by itself or with fettuccine alfredo, lemon chicken or “bun-less” turkey burgers with steamed veggies.

Prosecco: Natale Verga’s sparkling offering is dry, lemony, and bubbly with overtones of almond and honey. Chill it down and serve as an aperitif. Pairs well with calamari, crabmeat dishes, and spring mix salads.

Natale Verga Governo: This blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon dates back to the most ancient traditions of Tuscan farmers. Part of the grapes planted before harvest are added to wine during fermentation, to give it more softness and enhance its bouquet. Intense red color, fruity notes, and round aromas are the distinctive characteristics of this wine. It is fresh, harmonic and savory on the palate. It sports a bing cherry nose,and light crispness due to the Governa process. A fantastic wine that you can chill for any occasion.
