This Saturday, January 25, Wyatt’s is offering a free tasting featuring select wines of Germany.
Jacob Heims Steep Slope Riesling: This racy, off dry Riesling is drawn from vineyards which have excellent sun exposure and well-drained slate soils to give this wine a mineral edge balanced by its luscious fruit. Ideal for seafood or sharing during a gentle rain.
Kreuznacher Weinhaus Piesporter Gold Kabinett: This light bodied Kabinett is the perfect starter to any party. Crisp fruit flavors with a beautiful minerality with a touch of sweetness. Serve chilled with fish, chicken or light cheeses.
Kreuznacher Weinhaus Piesporter Goldtropfchen Riesling Spatlese: Also known as ‘late harvest’, this Spätlese’s complexity and fully concentrated fruit flavors are harmoniously balanced. Rich and ripe fruit flavors shine when slightly chilled. The delicate sweetness pairs perfectly with any Asian inspired dishes, holiday feasts, and BBQ.
Kilburg Spatburgunder Dry Pinot Noir: This German wine delivers a fresh bouquet with black cherry and a spice stem. Its palate is silky with seductive levels of sweet fruit, fine grained tannins, and a long minerally finish. Enjoy it with lamb, lobster, or spring vegetables.
Tasting hours for this free event on Saturday, January 25th, will be from noon-4:45 pm, at Wyatt’s Outlaw Saloon, in the back of the store.
All of this week’s featured items will be on sale!
