This Saturday, September 28, Wyatt’s is offering a free tasting of Wines of Sonoma.
Perhaps America’s most respected winemaking regions, Sonoma produces some of the most flavorful and popular wines we carry.
This weekend, try selections such as:
Gustafson Dry Creek Valley Riesling 2016: Notes of white peach and honeydew melon layer themselves over aromas of mandarin, white flowers, and a light touch of wet slate and earth. On the palate, ripe pear and white nectarine wash over whispers of chamomile, lychee, and fresh herbs with an enveloping mouthfeel. The finish features a bright minerality and acidity, balanced by a conservative amount of residual sugar that ensures a perfect complement to a variety of spicy dishes.
Gustafson Dry Creek Valley Rosé of Syrah 2017: This juicy rose is elegant with a floral bouquet matched with a great backbone of acidity. Delicate noes of rose petals, peonies, and ripe strawberries unfold from the glass, followed by notes of tart cranberries, dragon fruit, and a faint hint of honeydew melon on the palate.
Chalk Hill Sonoma County Chardonnay: This Chardonnay is golden in color with aromas of yellow apple, citrus zest and mango with notes of toasted hazelnut and vanilla custard. Its elegant palate displays fruit-forward flavors of golden apple, nectarine, and guava with hints of butterscotch. Its remarkable varietal intensity, balanced acidity, and mineral notes complement its rich, full flavors.
Angels Landing Sonoma Pinot Noir: Angel’s Landing Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is bold yet graceful. Complex aromas of dark cherries, wild blackberries, and delicate floral notes are complemented by rich fruit flavors and soft tannins. This lush Pinot Noir is ready to enjoy now yet will continue to evolve and delight with age.
