Saturday Wine Tasting – Summer Wines

This Saturday, June 22, Wyatt’s is offering a free tasting of summer wines.

These affordable wines make great simple selections for summer gatherings around the grill or for casual dining.

This weekend, try staff choices such as:

Precision Gearbox Chardonnay 2017: Gearbox wines originate from select vineyards located in the most prestigious winegrowing regions of California. These cool-climate vineyards foster slow, even ripening of the grapes, to produce outstanding Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines with an ideal balance of rich, ripe fruit and crisp acidity.  Gear Box Chardonnay is full of toasted oak and juicy fruit aromas and very well balanced. Across the palate it is enveloped with fruity flavors of white peach and an almond finish. Its lively acidity makes it great as an aperitif or paired with a charcuterie plate.

Shortbread Cellars Chardonnay: Light, buttery and delightful! Hints of vanilla and oak, balanced and mouthwatering. Will keep you coming back for more after the first sip!

Precision Pinot Noir: This dense, sophisticated Pinot Noir boastfully over-delivers aromas of fresh strawberries, wild raspberries, and spicy cherry cola. The bold, yet resolved palate has a clean, well-balanced acidity that ties up neatly with a complementary cream and caramel finish.

25 Days Red Blend: This Sonoma County red blend of 55% Zinfandel, 34% Sangiovese, and 11% Petite Sirah has an abundance of dark fruits like plum and blackberry on the palate that play nicely off the notes of pretty vanilla and toasted oak. Lush and mouth filling, this wine has a pleasing sense of acidity to help lift flavors well into the finish. Aged on American Oak for 20 months.

You can try these engaging summer wines this Saturday during our free tasting from noon-4:45 pm, at Wyatt’s Outlaw Saloon, in the back of the store.

All of this week’s featured items will be on sale!

As always, all participants must present valid I.D.
