This Saturday, April 7, Wyatt’s is offering a free tasting featuring select wines of Germany.
Jacob–Heims Urziger Spatlese: Highlighted by pronounced nuances of exotic spices and mesmerizing earthiness, this wine is bursting with tropical fruit flavors and pears. Old vines in a red volcanic soil with a high iron content make this wine a pure delight. Give it a slight chill and enjoy with oysters, calamari grilled and dressed with olive oil and oregano, or angel hair pasta.
Kreuznacher Weinhaus Dornfelder Red Wine: This traditional German red is smooth and fruity, yet semi-dry with just the right touch of natural sweetness.
Kreuznacher Weinhaus Piesporter Gold Kabinett: This light bodied Kabinett is the perfect starter to any party. Crisp fruit flavors with a beautiful minerality with a touch of sweetness. Serve chilled with fish, chicken or light cheeses.
Kreuznacher Weinhaus Spatlese Blue Bottle: Light golden in color with scents and flavors of ripe red apple, peach, and some spice, this wine is mouthfilling, moderately sweet, and broad, with a relatively low acidity.
Tasting hours for this free event on Saturday, April 7, 2018, will be from noon-4:45 pm, at Wyatt’s Outlaw Saloon, in the back of the store.
All of this week’s featured items will be on sale!
As always, all participants must present valid I.D.
