This Saturday, March 23, we are offering a special free tasting of select Cabernet Sauvignons.
Ideal for celebratory toasting, special meals, or personal enjoyment, everyone appreciates the Cabernet Sauvignon.
Saturday, we will be sampling these selections:
Torcherbearer Napa Cabernet Sauvignon: Torchbearer offers black fruit as well as spice on the nose. Black currants, blueberries, and cherries on the palate are laced by hints of exotic spices and chocolate. Full-bodied and velvet textured, with not a hard edge to be found. Toasty oak nuances emerge in its long finish. It grows brighter and fresher with time in the glass. A deal and a steal in this solid Napa Cabernet.
Spokesman Oakville Napa Cabernet Sauvignon: Sourced from benchlands and hillsides vineyards within the Oakville appellation, this exceptional Cabernet has intense black currant, blackberry, and dark chocolate complexity. This is a big wine with integrated tannins and balanced French oak, utilizing both new and second year barrels.
Angels Landing Napa Cabernet: Deep colored with loads of blackberry, currant, and mocha. Firm bodied with ripe tannins. A definite crowd pleaser for any occasion. Pairs particularly well with lamb and grilled beef.
Baus Family Vineyards: Full-bodied and rich, this wine is dark ruby in color, with aromas of dark fruit and cloves. Flavors of black cherries and blackberries emerge upon the palate. The fruit is beautifully balanced with a smooth, long finish. This wine has tremendous structure without the feel of excessive tannins or oak.
Tasting hours for Saturday, March 23rd will be from noon to 4:45 pm., at Wyatt’s Outlaw Saloon, in the back of the store.
