Saturday Tasting – Past GABF Winners (Colorado) & Bonterra Organic Wines

This Saturday, October 7, Wyatt’s is offering a free tasting of the organic wines of Bonterra and past GABF Winners from Colorado.

Honored as the “American Winery of the Year” for 2016, all of Bonterra’s wines are made from 100% organically-farmed grapes certified by CCOF. They also have three single vineyard ranches certified Biodynamic by Demeter.

We will be tasting select wines from Bonterra. You get your choice of four from:

Bonterra Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Viognier, or Zinfandel.

Saturday’s beer flight of previous Colorado GABF Winners includes:

Styx Pale Ale (Bootstrap Brewing): A delightful golden American-style Pale Ale, made in Niwot. 5.5% ABV, 38 IBUs.

Fade to Black (Left Hand): Black with ruby edges, this Foreign Export style Stout is a four time GABF winner. 8.5% ABV, 30 IBUs.

Pump Action Pumpkin (4 Noses)Packed with over 10 pounds of pumpkin per barrel and a hefty helping of pumpkin pie spices, there is no shortage of fall flavors in this spiced ale. 7.7% ABV, 12 IBUs.

Achtertuin Seizoen (Post Brewing) : Brewed to 5.6% ABV with barley, wheat and rye malts, this hazy golden farm ale is spiced with three distinct American hop varieties for a floral and fruity aroma. French ale yeast provides delicious fruit and spice notes and brings the beer to a dry and mildly tart refreshing finish. 5.6% ABV.

Tasting hours for this free event on Saturday, October 7, 2017, will be from noon-4:45 pm, at Wyatt’s Outlaw Saloon, in the back of the store.
