Join us this Saturday, June 24, for a very special free tasting featuring Laws Whiskey House, one of Colorado’s premier distilleries.
This Saturday, we will be tasting the following whiskey selections:
Four Grain Straight Bourbon: Using painstaking care and top notch ingredients, Laws strives to capture the character and quality of its grains in each sip. Enjoy the harmony between this complex whiskey and the vanilla and caramel notes from the newly charred American white oak barrels that help create a classic bourbon with Colorado character. Bottled at 95 proof.
Farmers Select Four Grain Straight Bourbon: This single barrel bottling of their classic Four Grain Straight Bourbon is crafted grain to bottle using ingredients hand-picked by the Colorado farmers that grow their grains. This whiskey celebrates their care and hard work. Aged at least 2 years in new American white oak. Bottled at 95 proof.
Four Grain Straight Bourbon BOTTLED IN BOND: Bottling in Bond requires that this limited release be a product of a single season, using the grain of a single season, made by one distiller at a single distillery, and aged at least 4 years in a federal government-bonded warehouse. The whiskey is then cut and bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV). These rules are significantly more stringent than the U.S. standards for “Straight Whiskey.”
Secale Straight Rye Whiskey: Secale Rye is made with 100% Colorado grains (95% rye and 5% barley). At 100 proof, this true Colorado rye packs a punch with rich flavors and a layered complexity that refines its characteristic regional terroir.
For the beer lovers, we are offering the oppourtunity to sample selections from The Post Brewing Company.
