This Saturday, July 28, Wyatt’s is offering a free tasting of wines from Josh Cellars.
Josh Cellars is a family owned company dedicated to making world class, handcrafted wines. They work with small growers, coopers, and winemakers producing elegant, sophisticated, yet approachable wines from Napa Valley, Carneros, and the North Coast of California.
We will be sampling these selections:
Cabernet – Josh Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of rich, dark fruits and baking spices on the nose, which yield fresh plum and blackberry fruit, violet, dried fig, vanilla bean and Chinese Five-Spice. The wine is juicy with plum and blackberry flavors prominent, layered with smoky and sappy maple wood, roasted almonds and hazelnuts that finishes long with fine, firm tannins.
Paso Robles Cabernet -This new entry to the Josh line features powerful aromatics and earthy tones which dominate the nose, yielding to bright, fresh blueberry fruit nuances. Robust flavors of coffee, plum, and blackberry layer with spice, finishing its harmonious balance.
Sauvignon Blanc – Bright aromas of lime and citrus are the core of our Josh Cellars Sauvignon Blanc, with layers of white flower nectar, peach, and tropical melon. The palate of the wine is fresh and alive with clean fruit flavors and a perfectly balanced finish.
Rosé – This unique rosé blend is sourced across diverse Northern and Central interior California sites to create great complexity, balance, and a classic Mediterranean rosé profile. The nose on this rosé is bright with aromas of fresh strawberries, white flowers, and stone fruits. On the palate, the wine is light-bodied, dry, and bursts with citrus, white peach, and strawberries, finishing with a crisp, mouthwatering citrus flavor.
Tasting hours for this event will be from noon-4:45 pm, at Wyatt’s Outlaw Saloon, in the back of the store.
