This Saturday, May 27, Wyatt’s is offering a free tasting of Hess Collection Wines and beer from River North Brewery of Denver.
Hess seeks out vineyards throughout California to find grapes that elevate the everyday wine experience. This Saturday, we will be tasting the following selections:
Hess Sauvignon Blanc, North Coast, 2015: Citrus aromas lead into flavors of fresh grapefruit, lemon zest, and lime balanced by good acidity, flinty mineral notes, and a crisp finish.
Hess Chardonnay, Monterey County, 2014: Layers of tropical and citrus fruit flavors of pineapple, mango, lemon, and lime, with a pleasingly round body, moderate acidity and balanced finish.
Treo Winemaker’s Red Blend, 2013: A gorgeous, approachable blend of 33% Petite Sirah, 26% Syrah, 22% Zinfandel, 13% Merlot, and 6% Malbec. Loads of ripe plums, black cherries, and raspberries, with notes of clove, white pepper, and vanilla.
Hess Cabernet Sauvignon, North Coast 2013: Full-bodied, yet balanced, displaying layers of red and black fruit, cassis, clove, cedar, and a touch of vanilla, with moderate tannins and lingering finish.
For the beer lovers, we are offering the oppourtunity to sample River North, a great Colorado craft brewery. Founded in 2012 by Matt and Jessica Hess, River North Brewing is a Denver-based, small, tight-knit crew of brewers and beer fanatics. They brew what they love to drink–original, noncompromising ales and lagers that exemplify what the craft beer movement is all about.
They craft #AdventureFuel for the state of Colorado. Because Colorado deserves the best.
Our beer tasting flight includes River North’s:
