This Saturday, April 22, Wyatt’s is offering a special Earth Day tasting of Girasole Organic Wines and unique beers from that Terran planet we all love so much.

Girasole Vineyards (pronounced jeer-uh-so-lay) wines are made from certified organic grapes grown on the rolling bench lands of Redwood Valley in the Mendocino appellation of Northern California. All of the grapes that go into our wines are estate grown, and hand-picked from family owned and operated vineyards that date back to the 1950’s. In addition to our organic certification, Girasole wines are also vegan friendly and are grown in GMO-free Mendocino County.

Our Earth Day beer selection profiles global beers that feature the four elemental ingredients of beer: water, malt, hops, and yeast.

Water is represented by Pilsner Urquell, with its uniquely soft water from the birthplace of pilsner.

Malt is symbolized Fuller’s London Porter and its smooth, creamy roasted malt. Fuller’s London is widely regarded as the World’s Finest Porter.

Hops are profiled through America’s own Melvin Citradamus Imperial IPA.

Yeast is represented by Oude Gueuze Boon, a 100% spontaneously fermented Lambic, utilizing the natural yeast of its region in Belgium.

Tasting hours for this free event on Saturday, April 22, 2017 will be from noon-4:45 pm, at Wyatt’s Outlaw Saloon, in the back of the store.
