Join us this Saturday, February 1st, for “A Taste of Bordeaux”- a free wine tasting featuring several special finds from one of France’s most celebrated winemaking regions.
This weekend features several exciting selections from our Wine Department. “Try before you Buy”:
Chateau Guichot Bordeaux Rouge: The wine is packed with fruit flavors of blackberry and plum with a pleasant acidity. It has a spicy side to it, adding complexity and filling out the tannins.
Château Cailloux de By Médoc: Dense, rich and fresh, this wine is firmly structured and full of blackberry fruits. It comes from the small village of By in the northern Médoc region.
Château Callac Graves Rouge: Aromas of coffee, chocolate, and vanilla reel you in with the naturally savory qualities of this blend. Extracted red fruit and a hint of smokiness play nicely on the palate. This wine is notably balanced, making it perfect with red pasta dishes.
Chateau les Vieux Chenes: This wine has a beautiful bouquet of red fruit including blackberry and blackcurrant. Good concentration with soft tannins. A stunner when paired with food. Turns any meal into a gourmet dish.
Tasting hours for this Saturday, February 1 event will be from noon until 4:45 pm. Our “A Taste of Bordeaux” event will be held at Wyatt’s Outlaw Saloon, in the back of the store.
All tasting items will be on sale.
As always, participants must present valid I.D.
