This Friday, June 16, Wyatt’s is offering a free tasting of select Summer White Wines and Denver Beer Co.

We will be tasting the following selections:

La Perliere Pouilly Fuisse: A very nice Chardonnay boasting bright apple fruit and a touch of toast and oak.  Try this with penne pasta and shrimp in a garlic cream sauce.

Chateau de Callac Graves White Bordeaux: This very balanced white Bordeaux welcomes you with and elegant green gold color and a depth of aromas of white flowers and lemon, leading into essences of citrus and vanilla with a tart acidity. Try it with your favorite cheeses, seafood, or grilled chicken.

Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc + Viognier: This unique marriage of two varietals that would never share the same bottle in their native France unites the crisp, honeyed fruit of Chenin Blanc with the plush body and juicy stone fruit notes of Viognier, for a wine that is both sophisticated and easy to enjoy. With its balanced acidity, this versatile wine pairs well with a number of dishes, from light salads to seafood to, most notably, foods with a hint of spiciness—its subtle sweetness provides balance alongside a touch of heat. Try Chenin Blanc + Viognier with a flavorful Thai curry, a sushi dish, such as a spicy tuna roll, or seared halibut.

Domaine Australis Sauvignon Blanc: Profound flavors of gooseberry and exotic fruits with a vibrant and lively finish. From New Zealand’s famous Marlborough growing region where Sauvignon Blanc is recognized world-wide for high quality. Great with tuna steaks, chicken picatta, linguine with a good clam sauce and soft cheeses, like brie, on rice crackers.

For the beer lovers, we are offering the oppourtunity to sample selections from Denver Beer Co., a longtime Colorado favorite and award-winning local brewery.

Friday’s beer flight includes:

Pretzel Assassin Amber Lager: This classic Vienna Lager is crisp and easy drinking. Munich and caramel malts are used to create a malty flavor with a touch of breadiness and a light sweetness. German noble hops round out the flavor profile of this clean, authentic amber lager. No pretzels were harmed in the making of this beer. 5.0% ABV.

Graham Cracker Porter:Like a campfire in a glass, this robust beauty has seductive notes of vanilla, smoked cedar, and mulling spices. A dark pour with mild lacing, it is a rollercoaster of lush chocolate diving into a semi-dry finish of roasted malt and biscuit. 5.6% ABV.

Incredible Pedal IPA: This American IPA greets you with lush floral, citrus, and tropical fruit on the nose. A medium bodied ale with a touch of sweetness, it will gear you up for a finish full of tangerine and grapefruit. Incredible Pedal is a hoppy beauty that takes you for a ride! 7.0% ABV.

Princess Yum Yum Raspberry Kolsch: This refreshing Kölsch is brewed with raspberry purée, giving it a tart finish and beautiful color. 5.2% ABV.

Maui Express Coconut IPA: Just in time for summer, Denver Beer Co. combines their American-style IPA with a tropical touch of coconut. 6.6% ABV.

Tasting hours for this free event on Friday, June 16, 2017, will be from 4:00-6:45 pm, at Wyatt’s Outlaw Saloon, in the back of the store.
