This Friday, January 12, 2018, Wyatt’s is offering a free tasting featuring the beers of New Image and the wines of Natale Verga.

New Image Brewing is a craft brewery from Arvada, Colorado that is passionate about creativity and exploration of beer styles. They’re also our “Colorado Craft Brewery of the Month”!

For the wine lovers, you can discover, or re-experience, Natale Verga, a winery from Lombardia, Italy and explore some of their most popular wines.

This week’s selections include:

Natale Verga Grecanico (Terre Siciliane): This dry Italian white opens with delicate aromas of yellow apple, stone fruit and lemon zest. Its easy-drinking palate offers green apple and citrus alongside fresh acidity. Wonderful with seafood dishes, salads, and pizza.

Natale Verga Gavi: Made from Cortese grapes from Northern Italy, this bright, readily drinkable white pours a  beautiful straw color, followed by the bouquet of white flowers, citrus, and toffee aromas. Its soft mouthfeel reveals flavors of apple and melon with a drying minerality. Pairs very well with cold seafood salads, linguine with white clam sauce, chicken alfredo, and veal picatta.

Love Rosso Veneto: Hailing from the Veneto Region of Italy, this Corvina grape blend exhibits aromas of cherry and currants with notes of sage. On the palate, the cherry and currants continue as flavors of anise and licorice develop into a dry, full-bodied finish. Pair Natale Verga Love Rosso with your favorite classic Italian dish and you’re sure to fall in love…with this wine!

Natale Verga Barbera D’Alba: This elegant wine has rich flavors of red fruits. Soft and warm, it is aged in French barriques. Treat yourself today! Tasting hours for this free event on Friday, January 12, 2018, will be from 4:00-6:45 pm, at Wyatt’s Outlaw Saloon, in the back of the store.
