In honor of the Breckenridge Big Beers Festival, Wyatt’s free Friday Tasting this week features Big, Belgian, and Barleywine beers.
Our beer tasting flight includes:
Delirium Tremens: This award-winning Belgian pale blonde ale carries an effervescent head and a malty aroma. It has a warm, rounded mouthfeel with a lingering dry, bitter finish. 8.5% ABVs.
Station 26 6th Anniversary Berry: This bold Belgian-style Tripel was fermented on blackberries and mulberries for Station 26’s recent anniversary. 11.5% ABV.
Boon Oude Schaarbeekse: Oude Kriek Boon is one of the finest examples of the 100% spontaneous fermentation fruit-Lambic style. 400 g of wild cherries per litre are fermented together with a blend of young and old Boon Lambic that has been aged in oak casks. 6.5% ABV.
Perennial Vermilion: This big, rich English-style Barley wine has tints of ruby around the edges of its brown body, with a toffee flavor and toasted pecan sweetness that is kept in balance with a smooth, alcohol warmth and slightly fruity American hop note. 13.6% ABV, 60 IBUs.
Tasting hours for this free event on Friday, January 10 will be from 4:00-6:45 pm, at Wyatt’s Outlaw Saloon, in the back of the store.
As always, all participants must present valid I.D.
