This Friday, May 25, we are offering a special free tasting from Colorado favorite Funkwerks Brewery.

This award-winning Fort Collins brewery specializes in Saisons. Saisons originated as Belgian farmhouse ales, brewed for farm workers during summer months. Usually having a dry profile and complex fruity aromas, Saisons today are brewed year-round and generally have a higher alcohol percentage than their original versions.

Although their niche is in the Saison style, Funkwerks experiments with a range of Belgian style beers and have several barrel projects in progress now, including Oud Bruin, Bourbon Barrel-Aged Quad, and other experimentals.

This Friday you can you experience some of these innovative farmhouse variations from Funkwerks during our tasting hours of 4:00-6:45 pm, at Wyatt’s Outlaw Saloon, in the back of the store.
