This Thursday, November 21, Wyatt’s is offering a free tasting featuring Beaujolais Nouveau Holiday Wine Releases.

Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau: Vibrant red fruits flavors of strawberries and currants show on the palate with an intense perfume that make this wine a perfect accompaniment for cheese, charcuterie, and traditional holiday fare. Serve slightly chilled.

Mommessin Beaujolais Nouveau: An enjoyable Cuvee with a deep purple robe in the glass and a nose of plum, violets, & lavender. Flavors of plum, pomegranate, and blueberry were followed with a textured minerality in the finish and a touch of vanilla.

La Perliere Beaujolais Villages: On the nose, one gets notes of raspberry and cherry. On the palate, flavors of smoke, mineral, and strawberry are present with soft tannins. This is a medium-bodied wine with a short, peppery finish.

La Perliere Morgon Cru Beaujolais: A full-bodied, powerful, and meaty wine, La Perliere Morgon features a deep garnet color with flavors of ripe cherries and stone fruits with rounded tannins and earthy notes. Try it with spicy tuna, roast fowl or lamb.

Tasting hours for this free event on Friday, November 21, 2019, will be from 4:00-6:45 pm, at Wyatt’s Outlaw Saloon, in the back of the store.
