Friday Beer Tasting – Colorado Microbrew Specialties

February 26, 2016 @ 4:00 pm - 6:45 pm

This Friday, February 26, Wyatt’s is hosting a free beer tasting of “Colorado Microbrew Specialties”, profiling specialty beers from local breweries in the Denver and Boulder areas.

Join us at Wyatt’s Outlaw Saloon in the back of the store and sample some of these select offerings! Discover a new favorite!

  • Ponderosa Porter (Wild Woods Brewery, Boulder) A medium bodied porter brewed with 20% rye, aged on oak and whole vanilla beans.  Inspired by the cake-like aromas of ponderosa pine tree bark warmed by the morning sun.
  • Grey Watcher (TRVE Brewing Company, Denver) A contemporary interpretation of a Grisette – a long forgotten style of saison brewed for mine workers in France. Light and effervescent, with a citric acidity.
  • Bareback Blonde Ale (4 Noses Brewing, Broomfield) This strong blonde ale is brewed with wheat and citrusy west coast hops to give it a crisp, refreshing and flavorful profile that is aimed to please craft beer enthusiasts and occasional beer drinkers alike. The initial sweetness is balanced out by a bright hop aroma with hints of lemon peel and finishes very cleanly.
  • Chinook IPA (Station 26, Denver) Each batch of their evolving Single Hop Series utilizes a different hop for a unique IPA experience. The current batch is made with Chinook hops, featuring huge flavors of pine, spice, and strawberry.

Tasting hours for Friday, 2/19/16 will be from 4:00 until 6:45 pm.

Participants must present Valid I.D.
