Cellar No. 8 Cabernet is a ten!

Cellar No. 8 produces robust, full-flavored red wines steeped in a rich heritage going back to when Italian immigrants founded the Asti Winery in Sonoma County in 1881. Applying methods and expertise from the old country, they created impressive red wines and formed an entire community around which winemaking was the soul.

Today, Cellar No. 8 pays tribute to the same original location where these pioneers cellared their wines more than 100 years ago. Their flavorful reds reflect the lively character and hearty spirit they embodied.

The flagship of Cellar No. 8 is their Cabernet Sauvignon. This grape blend of primarily Cabernet Sauvignon with a touch of Petite Sirah and Cabernet Franc is aged 13 months in American and French oak barrels to produce a leggy Cabernet Sauvignon chock full of flavor.

On the nose, Cellar No 8 Cabernet Sauvignon is complex and very aromatic with deep fruit accented by hints of cinnamon, black licorice, and coffee.

In the mouth, juicy flavors of black cherry and light plum lead to playful tannins and a silky mouthfeel with a medium, lingering jammy finish.
